Robert Cronk, 86, passed away Nov. 12, 1999 at his residence.
Mr. Cronk was born in Olivet on July 22, 1913 to Wilfred and Dorothy (Bradley) Cronk. He spent most of his adult life in the Bellevue and Charlotte areas. He was active in Ainger Bible Church, Olivet, serving as church board member and usher for 67 years. He was currently a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Charlotte. He was a retired dairy farmer of over 40 years, near Bellevue, and later was employed by the Eaton County Farm Bureau Services, retiring in 1978.
Surviving are his wife of 60 ½ years, Vera (Roberts) Cronk; a son, James (Sharon) Cronk of Otsego; a daughter, Carol (Dick) Marshall of Vermontville; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth Gallagher of Grand Rapids.
He was preceded in death by a twin sister, Roberta in 1927; a brother, John in 1966 and his parents.
Funeral services were held Nov. 16 at Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte, with Pastor Mark Booth of Calvary.
