Former Saratoga resident Esther May Stevens died Aug. 18 in Lancaster, Calif. She was 105.
A native of Linden, Calif., Stevens was a longtime resident of Mountain View and Saratoga and was a former schoolteacher. She was a member of the California Garden Club, the AARP, the Senior Citizens Club of Saratoga and the California State Teachers Association. She also belonged to Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge for 75 years.
Stevens was predeceased by her son Ronald G. Gravance. Survivors include sons Eugene E. Kerrick of Pennsylvania and John R. Gravance Sr. of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services have been held, with interment at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
