Wayne P. James. age 95, a resident of Morningside Health Center, Sheboygan, died Friday evening, May 6, 2011. He was born February 23, 1916 in Glenwood City, WI son of the late Andy & Bertha (Cook) James.

Wayne was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the European & Pacific Theaters as a Communications & Anti-Aircraft Officer.

On July 22, 1944 he married Mildred Miles in Hayward, WI. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mildred, a resident of Morningside Health Center, two daughters, Sharon (Mark) Mulder, Becky (Robin) Schmahl, two daughters-in-law, Doretta "Dory" James, Pam (Daniel) Shearer, twelve grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sons; Curtis & Gary James. Private funeral services where held at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel with burial in the Kiel City Cemetery.
