MRS GRISMER OF PERHAM DIES AT 59
Death Follows Surgery at St. James Hospital on Tuesday

Mrs. John Grismer died at St. James Hospital at 11 p.m. yesterday at the age of 59. She was recovering from an operation Tuesday for gallstones when she took a turn for the worse yesterday noon. A heart attack apparently was the cause of her death.

Born at Cataldo, Idaho, January 21, 1885, Olga Butler was married to John Grismer in 1912 at Wallace, Idaho. In 1920 they came to Minnesota and farmed for 30 years in the Rush Lake and St. Joe Community. Four years ago they retired and built a home in Perham.

Her husband, four sons and four daughters survive. Children are James of Kellog, Idaho; John on the home farm; Roderick Sylvester and Paul of Perham; Mrs. Franklin (Eleanor) Adamszyk and Mrs. Mac (Dorothy) Tobkin of Perham, Phyllis, who is now Sister Mary Felicia, of Barrie, Ontario, and Mary Helen at home.
She leaves a twin brother, William of Butte, Montana, and a brother Ed of Osborne, Idaho, two sisters, Mrs. E.R. Vickery of Spokane, Washington, and Mrs. Glenn Coulter of Portland, Oregon, and 13 grandchildren. Two sons and two duaghters preceded her in death.

A good mother, Mrs. Grismer was a faithful member of the Catholic church, a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Henry's Church and a member of the Mission Circle of the St. Joe Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Henry's Church with the Rev. Donnay in charge following rosary services at 8 p.m. Monday at Schoeneberger's Chapel. Burial will be in the St. Joe Cemetery.
