Amanda Lea Jax, age 21, of Mayer, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 in Mankato.
She was born Oct. 29, 1986 in Waconia, the daughter of Ken Sterner and Jenny Jax. Amanda was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius.
She was recently accepted into the nursing program at Mankato State.
Amanda loved her family. She was a hard worker, holding down two jobs while going to school; and was a friendly and very outgoing person.
In her spare time, she enjoyed working on puzzles and scrapbooking.
Amanda is survived by her loving family; mother and stepfather, Jenny and Ronald Haag of Mayer; father and stepmother, Ken and Patty Sterner of Dassel; brothers Bryan Haag, Ken Sterner Jr., and Jordan Sterner; sisters Madison Haag, Grace Haag, Kelsie Sterner, and Kaitlyn Sterner; grandparents, Robert and Joann Jax, Martin Haag, Simon Sterner, and Marilyn and Richard Howk; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius with Father Joseph Gallatin as celebrant of the Mass.
