Benjamin T. Amazeen, an aged and respected citizen of Newcastle, died at his home in that town on Thursday afternoon, aged eighty-seven years, five months and twelve days. Besides a large circle of friends and other relatives he leaves eight children, five sons, Charles B. of Newcastle, Lewis F. of Beach Hill, Mass., Andrew W. of Beverly, Mass., Joseph S. of this city and Ephraim W. of St. Johnsbury, Vt., and three daughters, Mrs. Dolly Haywood and Miss Helen S. Amazeen of Newcastle and Mrs. Priscilla Chapman of Cambridgeport, Mass.
