MOTHER

There's an old arm chair that is empty,
There's a voice that we hear no more,
And the hands that were always so busy
They are folded, so quiet and peacful
O'er a heart that is still and cold;
A heart that lived its life bravely,
Whose courage can never be told.
We are thankful for you, little Mother,
For your life and your love so true,
For God could not give in all the world,
Such another Mother as you.
