Marion M. Barr was born at Ridgeville Corners, Henry Co., OH, Mar. 28, 1861 and died in the triumph of living faith in Waterloo (Ed note: Indiana) Jan. 9, 1910 aged 48 yrs 9 mos 8 days.
In 1891 he with his parents came to Dekalb Co., IN residing in or near Waterloo ever since until death claimed him. In 1889 he gave his heart to God under the pastorate of Rev. Pope of the Ohio conference, and united with the Evangelical Church and after coming to Waterloo he transfererd his membership to the Waterloo Evangelical Church of which he remained a member until death....
He leaves to morun his departure an aged mother, two brothers, four sisters, and many friends, two brothers and one sister preceding him to the better world. The funeral was held at the Evangelical Church Saturday, Jan. 8, Rev. G. Zuber, pastor, officiating, and the burial was in the Waterloo cemetery.
