Born July 20, 1947 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Ruby and Ross Swango. She married William E. Baker on Aug. 6, 1967 and he survives. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Batesville. She lived in New Point most of her life.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Robbins of near Buena Vista, Ind., and Mrs. James (Letha May) Turner of Sunman; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending at Moster & Cox Mortuary at Rushville, Ind. The Rev. Greg Temke will be in charge of the service with burial at Hopewell Cemetery.
