Mary Annie Allen, 86, of Palestine, Texas died January 30, 2013 at Cartmell Home for the Aged in Palestine. Burial in Rock Church Cemetery is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. She was born August 18, 1926 in Odessa, TX to Grover Cleveland Bozarth and Mary Emma Hartung. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie James Allen; brothers; Grover, Edward, Jessie, Robert and Howard Bozarth; and grandson, Christopher Allen. She is survived by daughter, Mary Schmitz and husband Floyd of Palestine; sons, Jesse Allen and wife Dorine of Montalba, Dave Allen of Montalba, and Donald Allen and wife Nora of Palestine; brother-in-law, Bill Allen and wife Neva of Montalba; sister-in-law, Levenia Bozarth; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
