On October 31, 1881, she was united in marriage with William Fox, the marriage being performed in Centerville, Iowa, and to this union two children were born, Henry W. of Numa, and Mrs. Ann Krewson of Hammond, Ind. Of a family of six children, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura Hendershott, of Plano, Iowa, and Mrs. Belle Reddick of Quincy, Ill.
The husband, William Fox, departed this life Jan. 31, 1902, and since that time she has resided in her home here, only the past two months being removed to the home of her son, Henry, for special care. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who with a host of friends mourn her passing.
In early life she became a member of the Methodist Church of Numa, and has lived a consistent Christian life. A member of the first pioneer family of this community, she has served her community and family with deep devotion and a mother and a friend. Funeral service was held on Thursday, Feb. 20th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Numa Methodist Church, Rev. Polk of the Cincinnati church reading the service. She was laid at rest in the family lot in the Numa Cemetery.
