Young Woman Dies of Accidental Shot

Luling, Tex., Jan. 6,-Miss Lillian Casey of this city was shot and almost instantly killed at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William, Stahl in this city, a bullet from a heavy calibre revolver striking her in the left side and penetrating her body. Lawrence Stahl, who was engaged to be married to the young lady, was attempting to fasten a door when a pistol in his hand was accidently discharge, causing the tragedy.
The inquest held by Justice of the Peace Geo. E. Lucas officially reported Miss Casey's death the result of an accident. The body was sent to Missouri Wednesday for burial.
