Jerry D. Crawford, age 66, of Edon, Ohio, died on Friday, March 28, 2008, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Montpelier, Ohio. Jerry was employed by Metaldyne in Edon, retiring in 2004, with thirty-four years of service. He was lifelong resident of Edon, Ohio and attended the Edon United Methodist Church.
Jerry D. Crawford was born September 28, 1941, in Edon, Ohio, the son of Ivan Dale and Dorothy Juanita (Gearhart) Crawford. He married Nancy S. Hartman on October 23, 1981 in Edon, Ohio and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his mother, Dorothy Crawford, of Edon, Ohio, three sons, Jeffrey D. (Cindy) Crawford, of Fort Myers, Florida, Mitchel Buell, of Edon, Ohio, and David (Laura) Buell, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, two daughters, Patricia Crawford and Tamra (Chuck) Patton, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana and two grandchildren, Kyle Patton and Leila Buell. He was preceded in death by three infant brothers, Richard, Robert and Franklin Crawford.
Services for Jerry D. Crawford will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, Ohio with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Interment will follow in Columbia Cemetery. Visitation for Jerry D. Crawford will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1.
