Hawkinsville, Ga, Sept 13, Mrs. Eleanor Bozeman Ryan, one of Hawkinsville, most prominent residents, died at her home here last night after an illness of several months. She was 80 years of age. She was the widow of Judge L. C. Ryan, a Confederate veteran.
Mrs. Ryan was born in Hawkinsville and spent her entire life here. She was the daughter of Cornelius Bozeman and Elizabeth Farmer Bozeman, and a member of one of Pulaski's pioneer families.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the residence. Rev. W. W. Ketchum, pastor of the Methodist church, will conduct the services. Interment will be at Orange Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mollie Bozeman Roden, of this city; three sons and two daughters, C. E. Ryan and L. C. Ryan, of Hawkinsville; Frank B. Ryan, of Hattiesburg, Miss,; Mrs. M. A. Holloman of Hattiesburg, Miss.,and Miss Minnie Ryan, of Hawkinsville.
