CATO, Mr. Robert Lewis, age 40 of 2015 Ave. J Ensley, passed away Monday p.m. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Cato; two sons, Roger Dale and Edwin Lewis Cato, all of Birmingham; mother, Mrs. Jennie Cato of Morris, Ala.; five sisters, Mrs. Maebelle Smith and Mrs. Edna Patterson, both of Morris, Ala., Mrs. Lorene McCreless of Fultondale, Mrs. Doris Phillips of Sumiton and Mrs. Patricia Wheeler of Tarrant; five brothers, Curtis Cato, Shelby, Ala., Edgar Cato of Robinwood, Edward Cato of Morris, Joe Cato of Tarrant and Johnny Cato of Birmingham; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church, near Trafford. Interment, adjoining cemetery. The Rev. J. Herbert Gilmore officiating. Active pallbearers, Darrell Jordan, Harvey Williams, Clinton and Charles Anderson and Milton Johnson. Remains to lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until time of services. Brown-Service, Norwood, directing.
