CARL EKDAHL in Brushy, was born in Vånga, Västergötland, in 1867 and he came to Georgetown, Texas, as an immigrant in 1891. He worked for three years for Mr. Oscar Forsvall, then leased land, and in 1905 bought the farm where they now live.
He married Anna Johnson in 1897. She was born in Wallsjö, Småland, in 1876 and has lived in this country since 1896. Their children are: Gunnar, born in 1898, Oscar, 1900, Emil, 1902, Wesley, 1907, Mildred, 1909, and Juliet, 1917. They are members in the Swedish Free Church.
