FUNERAL OF MRS. ANDERSON

The funeral services of Mrs. Nels Anderson were held at the home on E. Franklin street Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. A. P. Westerberg of the Lutheran church of this city officiating. Following these services were the services of the church, where the Rev. Westerberg spoke in Swewdish, using as his text Ps. 32:18. The sermon was a very pleasing one, spoken in sincerity. The Following obituary was read:
Mrs. Bengta Anderson was born in the parish of Sjellkinge, the province of Christianstad, Sweden, Nov. 9, 1845. She came to Paxton with her husband, Nels Anderson, June 19, 1879. Mr. Anderson preceded her in death which occurred on Dec. 18th, 1898. There were no children, but there remain three brothers and one sister to mourn her loss, besides other relatives. They are: Wendell Eklund, with whom the deceased made her home; Andrew Wendell and Mrs. C. J. Engdahl of this city and John Wendell of El Campo, Texas. Mr. Anderson had been a member of the Lutheran church of this city since April 28, 1899. Death occurred on May 7th at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 28 days.
Miss Edna Larson sang the solo, "Home, Sweet Home," after the reading of the obituary.
Those acting as pall bearers were Messrs, Andrew Carlson, Andrew Hanson, Sherman Corbly, John Bloomstrand, John Ryberg and John Johnson.
Mesdames Martin Weberg, Andrew Hanson, S. M. Rydeen and Johnson were the flower carriers.
Short services were held at the grave in Glen cemetery, where interment took place.

We wis to extend our sincere thanks to all who were so kind to us during our recent bereavement in the death of our sister, Mrs. Nels Anderson. We also express thanks to all who furnished machines and sent the beautiful flowers.
