Grover McCrary, a native of Forrest City and the son of Mr.and Mrs.M.R.McCrary died Sunday, Aug.14,1927, at Vicksburg, Miss. The remains were brought to Forrest City and funeral services held in the Christian church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev.J.C.Mason, followed by interment in Forrest City cemetery. Grover McCrary was born in Forrest City 37 years ago, and lived here until his early manhood, going to Memphis where he married, and to that union was born one child, a daughter. From Memphis he moved to Jackson, then Vicksburg, Miss. Besides his parents, wife and daughter, are surviving him three brothers and six sisters. Forrest City Times-Herald Aug.18,1927
