Benerito and Ann Eloisa Luna, ages 64 and 63, were married for 45 years and residents of Silverlakes for the past five years and previous residents of Oceanside for 32 years, passed away in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Sunday, April 3, 2005. Benny was born in Los Lunas, N.M. and Ann was born in Needles. Both were raised in Barstow and graduated from Barstow High School, Class of 1959. Ann was a homemaker, gifted seamstress, and retired electrician. Benny retired from the Marine Corps Base at Camp Pendleton after 32 years of Federal service and was continuing as Master Auto Technician at Mike's Automotive in Barstow. Both were devoted to the Catholic Church. Her parents, Louisa and Pete Rodriguez Sr., and brother, George Aguilar, preceded her in death. His parents, Noberto and Anita Luna preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, Michael Luna and his wife Anita of Barstow, Anthony 'Tony' Luna of Roanoke, Ala., and Stephen Luna and his wife Lottie of Oceanside; daughter, Regina Badillo and her husband Darren of Oceanside; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Isaac, Vincent, Nicholas, and Ivan Luna, and Amanda and Lukas Badillo; brothers and sisters of Ann, Bob Flores, Armando 'Sonny' Rodriguez, Evelyn 'Dee Dee' Cruz, John 'Artie' Rodriguez of Barstow; Pete Rodriguez Jr., of Needles, and Maria 'Baby' DeLa Rosa of Vista. Brothers and sisters of Benny are, Leo Luna, Helen Raster, Patsy Biles, Randy Luna of Barstow; and Nobie Luna of Yermo.
