He was BORN 12/13/1917 in San Gabriel and was a descendant of a pioneer family in the area. Graduated 1938 from Thorndale High School. Veteran of Army Air Force in WW-2, serving in the South Pacific. Member of Thorndale VFW Post No. 4009 for 31 years. Certified water and wastewater operator and was Thorndale water superintendent for 16 years. After retirement along with his wife started a bird breeding operation. Former officer of Capitol Area Waterworks Asso., member of Williamson Co. Bird Breeders Asso., American Cockatiel Soc., the National Bird Breeding Research Asso. and the Corpus Christi Bird Breeders Asso.
