David Allen Helmberger, one year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Helmberger of Gary, SD, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, December 15, 1979 at a Clear Lake hospital.
David was born August 9, 1978 at Canby, Minnesota. He was a baptized member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Gary.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Helmberger of Gary; his grandmother, Mrs. Minerva Helmberger of Gary; his grandmother, Mrs. Louise Schwartz of Fargo, ND; his grandfather, Raymond Schwartz of Denver, Colorado, his great grandmother, Mrs. Cora Mellendorf of Aurora, SD; his great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Schwartz of Canby; and nine aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the First Evangelical Church at Gary ,SD with the Rev. Edgar Gieschen officiating.
