Alex Passino was born in Keeseville, NY the son of Adolphus and Sophia Sharron Passino. He was married June 3, 1901 to Amy Passino, daughter of a cousin Mitchell Passino of Jay. They had 4 children: Mrs. Mabel Sheldon of Elizabethtown, Mrs. Loretta Dickinson of Elizabethtown, Mrs. Violet Dickerson of Hudson and son Earl of Elizabethtown.
