| Birth: | Jun. 10, 1797 Stokes County North Carolina, USA | | Death: | Oct. 28, 1832 Battle Ground Tippecanoe County Indiana, USA |  Daniel McKillip was the son of John McKillip of North Carolina. He had two brothers John and William, and two sisters Elizabeth and Catherine. His family moved to Jefferson Township, Fayette County, Ohio before 1812. Daniel was married to Nancy Lawson on May 10, 1820 and had seven children. James , John , William , Lucinda, Caroline, Jackson , and Louisa. Lucinda died in infancy. In 1828 Daniel and his family move to Tippecanoe Township, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Daniel died at the age of 35 years 4 months and 18 days. His widow was left with 5 young children and another on the way. She married John White on April 21, 1836, and when she was widowed again she married William Kendall on Oct. 14, 1847, widower of Daniel McKillip's sister Elizabeth McKillip Kendall. Daniel was my second-great-grandfather.
