Emil F. Eckardt, 80, of 222 Kay Ave, Sheboygan Falls, died Monday afternoon at Morningside Nursing Home, Sheboygan.

He was born Jan. 10, 1899 at Howards Grove, a son of Gustave and Susan Henschel Eckart. The family later moved to Kiel where he attended Kiel High School and later an auto mechanics' school in kansas City, Missouri.

On Nov 1, 1952, he married Elsie Hermann in Milwaukee.

The couple made their home in Milwaukee until moving to Shebygan Falls eight years ago.

He was a member of First Reformed Church, Sheboygan Falls, the Manitowoc Tribe of the Improved Order of Redmen, and the Kiel Masonic Lodge 336.

A US. Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Eckardt was a former member of the Bay View Veteran of Foreign Wars Post.

Survivors are his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Mog of Hartford and Mrs. Clara Brockman of Sheboygan. Two brothers precede him in death.

Funeral services wil be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Melselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Henry Poppen, pastor of First Reformed Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funerl home from 4 to 9 p.m. wednesday
