Cleveland O. Schnautz, 91, Clay City, died in the Clay County Hospital, Saturday at 11:10 p.m.

Visitation will be from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Clay City Chapel of the Cardascio Funeral Home and from 9-10 a.m. at the Sailor Springs Christian Church with services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery in Clay City.

He was born in Clay County on Oct. 18, 1888, son of John and Maggie (Weidner) Schnautz. He married Iva Ann McKinney on Oct 9, 1912. She preceded him in death Oct. 4, 1977.

He was a member of the Clay County Farm Bureau.

Mr. Schnautz is survived by two sons, Lubert and Larry, both of Clay City; two daughters, Mrs. George (Emmadine) Lichner, Rouge River, Or., Mrs. Rasho (Myona) Winget, Knoxville, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Walker and Mrs. Leona Barker, both of Clay County, Mrs. Winnie Hasler, Noble, Mrs. Georgia Cooper, Monticello; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers, and three sisters.
