Angevine, Warren T.

His first wife was a native of Indiana who died in 1878 leaving one daughter, Georgia.
He married his second wife 4 Apr 1879 in St. Louis, Mrs. Adelaide (Adams?) Appel, born 12 Sept 1854 Greenville, Muhlenburg County, Kentucky (father born in TN, mother born in KY). She was a widow, perhaps the widow of Herman Appel (b 1849- d 26 Jul 1874 St. Louis).

Said in the family to have been a Union soldier from Michigan during the Civil War, like his brother Capt. Warren T. Angevine of the 2nd Co. Sharpshooters, 16th Michigan Infantry (corporal, co. E), but unlike his brother Warren, no military record for him has been found.
One reference says he was employed at the newspaper when a boy; later, Wabash Railroad.

He was a police officer in St. Louis in 1880.

Member of the St. Louis Railway Club. In 1902 "Frank Angevine and Son" were members. (Possibly meaning son-in-law?) Address 1801 Carr Street, St. Louis.
