Benjamin "Benny" Rhodes Parker, of Bluffton, SC passed away January 22, 2012.
He was born in Walterboro, SC on December 2, 1947. He was the son of the late George Robert and Dorothy Elizabeth Rhodes Parker Sr. Benny was raised in Hampton, SC where he spent his first 35 years and moved to Bluffton in 1985.
Mr. Rhodes was an Insurance Agent for Farm Bureau Insurance Company. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Benny was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Teresa Pharr Parker of Bluffton; two sons, William H. Breazeale of Orlando, FL and Chadwick Rhodes Parker of Bluffton; three daughters, Catherine Parker Culpepper and husband Shelton of Summerville, Michelle Matthews Bradford and husband Matthew of Bluffton and Ashley Parker Bender and husband Michael of Mt Pleasant; brother, George Robert "Bobby" Parker and wife Anne Marie of St. Augustine, FL and grandchildren, Darien Breazeale, Sarah Culpepper, Parker Madeline Bradford and Ryland Bender.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, January 25, 2012, at the Church of The Cross, 110 Calhoun St., Bluffton with burial in the Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, Bluffton.
