Lee Cary Wright, who had worked as a boilermaker in the shipping industry, died Sunday in a Portland hospital. He was 82. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sunrise Chapel of Portland Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Wright was born at Dufer and was a resident of Southeast Portland. Surviving are his wife, Alta M.; daughter, Thelma I. Hopp of Milwaukie; sons, Richard L. of Fort Dick, Calif., and Everett A. of Portland; stepson, Floyd K. Kyler of Beaverton; stepdaughter, Judith W. Roberts of Bend; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five step grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
The family suggest that remembrances be contributions to Central Oregon Community College, Bend.
