She was the daughter of Eleazer Blackman of Connecticut and Lucretia (Conklin) Blackman of New York. She was the wife of Amos Kenyon.
After Amos died in 1869, she is listed on the 1870 census living in Otsego, Columbia, Wisconsin (Rio post office). Her 19-year-old son Duriah (Beriah), 9-year-old daughter Fidelia, and 7-year-old daughter Julia are living with her. She does not show a listing owning any real estate at this time, following her husband's death. At some point, it appears the family property was sold.
By, 1900, she is living in Rio, Columbia, Wisconsin, a widow, with her daughter, Julia A. Kenyon. The record indicates she has two living children, but had a total of 6 children.
