Claire married Bill Ramsey 12 Dec. 1987 in Anchorage, Alaska. She had lived in Tow, TX since 1988, moving from Big Lake, Alaska. Claire was a member of the Tow Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, caring for her home, and she loved horses. She was retired from the Anchorage Telephone Utility. She recently worked at the Tow Post Office.
Claire passed away at Seton Hospital in Round Rock, TX after a long battle with lung cancer.
She is survived by her husband Bill Ramsey of Tow, TX; two sons, Don and wife in Anchorage, Alaska and Will and wife of Llano, TX; a brother, Bill Carnes of Prescott Valley, AZ and a sister, Kathy Carter of Sierra Vista, AZ; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
