Mrs. Kathrina Heintz died at her home in Topeka last Sunday evening after a short illness.
Kathrina Waidner was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 12th, 1850, and died July 17th, 1921, aged 71 years, 4 months and 5 days.
She came to Kansas with her parents when quit young, living first in Leavenworth County, and later moved to this city where she has lived in the greater part of her life. She was married to Michael Heintz at St. Marys, this county. She is survived by two sisters and one brotheróLouise Fisher, of Soldier, Kansas. Two brothers and two sisters have preceded her to the Great Beyond, and her husband died about eight years ago.
She joined the Baptist Church when she was thirteen years of age and was a faithful member to the last, attending all the meetings of the church whenever possible.
After the death of her sister, Mrs. Christine Hess a year ago last winter, she moved to Topeka where she has since resided.
The remains accompanied by her niece, Miss Christine Fisher, arrived in Onaga Monday evening and funeral services were held in the Baptist church Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. A. Eckert of the Methodist Church. Interment was given in the Onaga Cemetery.
