Katie Wheat Reed was the storybook grandmother. Grew up on a farm in Tennessee and had 6 brothers and sisters. Married to Lamar Reed and had one daughter, Doris Reed McCaa who preceded her in death in February of 1989. Mrs. Reed had 3 grandchildren-Sharon Chatham of San Antonio, TX, Gene McCaa Jr who preceded her in May of 1999, and Debbie McCaa McKinnon of Dallas, TX. She also had 3 great granddaughters-Katie Eidelbach Tucker of Denver, CO, Deborah Ellen Eidelbach of San Antonio, TX and Kelly Killeen McKinnon of Dallas, TX. Grandma, we miss you so much and think of you all the time. You were a wonderful mother and grandmother! You are missed more each day that you are not with us. I know God is watching over you, mama and Gene Jr. Love you SOOOOOO much!
