Rosella Glenz, 65, of Houston, passed away Monday, June 17, 2002 in a Sugarland hospital. Rosella was born March 9, 1937 in Needville, Fort Bend County, Texas to Frank R. and Sophie Gaidosik Baethe. She was baptized May 23, 1937 in St. Mary's Church in Hempstead and confirmed at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. On May 3, 1958, she was married to Walter Glenz in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville by Minister John P. Dany. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill. Her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Julie Glenz of Sugarland and Kevin and Michele Glenz of Brenham; four grandchildren, Jeremy and Kelsey Glenz of Sugarland and Shelby and Trevor Glenz of Brenham; brother, Franklin Baethe and his wife Barbara of Richmond; sister-in-law, Elene Glenz of Brenham; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rique Carson of Houston. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Walter on Dec. 7, 1983. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill with Pastor Jon Siemsglusz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Anthony Pizzitola, Donald Glenz, Larry Glenz, Brad Baethe, James Reimer and Leon Schwartz. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St., Brenham.
