arrived in Washington Territory in 1866 with her mother and brother, her two older sisters and father had come before in 1864. She was the assistant lighthouse keeper at the lighthouse on Whidbey Island...her father being the lighthouse keeper there for 13 years. Flora was married at the lighthouse in 1876.
