Mrs. Gilkeson is Dead

Mrs. Margaretta A. Gilkeson died early this morning at her home in Carlyle. She was 65 years old, the wife of James C Gilkeson, who is the only member of the immediate family to survive her. They had no children.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in the Carlyle Presbyterian Church, the Rev. W J Poole officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilkeson was born in Waraw, Indiana and came to Allen county in 1900 where she has lived since. She was the daughter of the Rev. William Wilson, former pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Carlyle.
The formal obituary on 14 March 1922, pg 2 is quite lengthy. States she was married to Jas. C. Gilkeson of Carlyle, not Joh. It states a child was taken into the home, Martha, deceased. It also lists a granddaughter Margaret Jo of borget Texas.
