Nadine Weaver, born in Hamilton, Texas, and reared in Weslaco, TX, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 13, 1997. She was the wife of Herbert (Barney) Hackney, who preceded her in death in 1986.
Her early childhood was spent in Weslaco, Texas, with her mother & step-father, Georgia & James Lewis Stone. She was a long time office manager of Weslaco Citrus Growers and active in many civic affairs before moving to Dallas, where she married.
She was loved by her many family friends and was known especially for her wit & caring. She was a member of Park Cities Baptist Church where she enjoyed a large circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Milton Weaver & Jack Stone. She is survived by her sister, Millie Bondurant, Dallas; brother James Stone, Harlingen; 9 nieces & nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her dearly.
Services will be 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 15, 1997, Restland Wildwood Chapel, Dr. Ed Moore of Prestonwood Baptist Church officiating. Interment Restland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Jack Stone, David Toalson, Bob Bondurant, Jerry Stone, Johnny Stone & Todd Matelski.
