Edward E. "Ed" Wall was the son of Hannon Buchannan "Buck" Wall (1846-1896) and Margaret Elizabeth (Proctor) Wall (1851-1935). Edward was the third born child out of twelve children.

Edward married Susan Inez "Sue" Talley (1868-1910) on April 1st 1897 in Montgomery County, TN. Edward and Susan had two children together: Minnie Lee Wall (1898-1917) and Betty Elizabeth (Wall) McCurdy (1900-1975). Edward and Susan also had four grandchildren together: 1)Marie (McCurdy) Neblett (1921-2014), 2) Charles Edward McCurdy (1922-1923), 3)William Warren McCurdy Jr., (1924-1925), 4)Ralph Edward McCurdy (1927-2010).

Edward was a prominent farmer and landowner in the Montgomery-Dickson County, TN. area.

Edward was the grandson of David James Wall (1822-1907) and Martha Jane (Christy) Wall (1826-1882), and of John Henderson Proctor (1817-1904) and Malinda (Gambell) Proctor (1820-??).

Edward died at the young age of 46 due to Peritonitis (infection/inflammation) caused by acute Appendicitis. Edward now rests beside his wife Susan and their daughter Minnie at Ryes Chapel cemetery in Southside, Montgomery County, TN.
