|Birth: ||Jul. 23, 1918|
|Death: ||Mar. 23, 2003|
Only daughter of Everett Glyde Burt and Glenna M Wise Burt. Never married.
Margaret worked at the Hamilton Sorter Company, from which she retired. She volunteered as the "house mother" for her sorority at Ohio University (Athens) for most of her adult life.
"Tubby" as everyone called her had many friends, and was always entertaining her girlfriends with delicious meals and the like. She kept an impeccable house, with a delightful collection of thimbles. Tubby loved to take relatives on a grand tour of all the Burt gravesites in the area, and to share her scrapbook.
She was particularly proud to show photos of herself as a young woman, and would often draw attention to photos which showcased her 19-inch waist. As a child her constant companions and best friends were her cousins James Burt, and Annabelle Houck. She resided in a house owned by the Houck estate until her death.
