Alda V. Cofer, 94, formerly of Kansas City, died June 9, 1988 in a nursing home in Curtis, Nebr. She was born in Gilford, Mo., and lived in Kansas City 40 years before moving to Curtis in February. Mrs. Cofer was a member of the church of God Seventh Day. Her husband, Clyde Cofer died in 1970.
Survivors include three sons, Leland Cofer, Grand Junction, Co., Floyd Cofer, Leeton, Mo., and Glen Cofer, North Platte, Ne; a sister Ethel Duley, Stanberry, MO; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Servicew will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday at the church; burial in the National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth.
