Funeral services for Ruby Beard, 98, of Frankston were held at 3 p.m Friday, Oct. 17, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with John Thompson officiating.

Burial was in the Frankston City Cemetery.

Mrs. Beard died Wednesday, Oct. 15, in a Palestine hospital.

She was born June 17, 1906 in Frankston. Mrs. Beard was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Frankston.

Mrs. Beard was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Beard.

Survivors include her daughter, Geline Dodd of Wylie; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were James Wilson, Rusty Droby, Ken Emmons, Spencer Beard, Johnny Hardman and Johnny Burks.
