Fred A. Carlson
Fred A. Carlson, resident of 1056 Buzzard Street, Brockway, died Saturday, January 27, 1962 at his home. Born September 28, 1874, in Sweden, the son of Gust and Marie Kline Carlson, he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Cowie. Mr. Carlson was a retired employee of Brockway Glass Company.
Surviving are his wife, six daughters, Flora McVehil, Grace Cebbatt of Lakewood, N.J.; Ruth DeVallance, Freda Nelson, Marion Smith, Elsa Palm, all of Brockway; one son, Fred, Jr., also of Brockway.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m., from the Carlson residence with the Rev. Thomas Johnson and the Rev. D.P. Remaley officiating. Interment followed in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Winrot Carlson Funeral Home.
