David Alan Dimmett, age 63, formerly of Evansville, Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on Friday September 13, 2002 at Pascagorela, Mississippi. He was at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana, and was buried at Biloxi Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was a veteran in the Air Force. He was a Civil Service Instructional Designer at Keesler Air Force Base for 14 years. 1996 graduate of USM with a B.S. Degree. He was retired from Air Force as Second Master Sergeant. David served 26 years in the Air Force and earned many medals. His parents, Bert Preston Dimmett Sr. and Iva Gentry Dimmett and a brother, Bert P. Dimmitt Jr., all preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Plylar Dimmett of North Biloxi, Mississippi; step-daughter, Jewel Jr. Dunaway of North Biloxi, Mississippi; step-daughter, Susan D. MacQuarrie of Geilenkirchen, Germany, and five step-grandchildren. He was the son of Bert Preston Sr. and Iva (Gentry) Dimmett and the husband of Patricia (Plyer) Dimmett.
