Sylvester Aloysius Babinski was born Nov. 13, 1909, the son of Andrew and Frances (Stanislowski) Babinski, in Warsaw, N.D. He attended school in Minto, N.D., and Mayville (N.D.) State Teachers College. He married Florence Grzadzielewski Nov. 28, 1934, in Drayton, N.D. He was a teacher in Walsh County, N.D., and worked for Robertson Lumber Co., in Crookston, Minto and Neche, N.D. They also farmed in the Warsaw and Manvel area. Florence Babinski died June 11, 1991.
