EDWARD R. BINDER

Milwaukie resident Edward "Ed" R. Binder died on Nov. 27, 2009, at age 62.
He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on April 28, 1947, to parents Lyle F. and Jean Binder.
He served in Vietnam with the Marines, and was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans.
He was employed as a respiratory therapist and retired in 2004.
He collected military memorabilia and model trains and enjoyed collecting and creating postmarks called covers.
He is survived by: wife, Christine Binder; daughter, Kimberlee Binder; mother, Jean Binder; sisters-in-law, Lumeta Corteway, Millicent Morrison, Patte Nafius and Donna Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Dec. 2, 2009; interment was at Willamette National Cemetery.
Remembrances may be sent to any DAV in his memory.
