Russell Walden Bishop, age 67 years of Beecher Street, Louisville, formerly of Greensburg, Ky, departed this life on Monday April 21, 1997, in Louisville,. He was born September 27, 1929, the son of Henry H. Bishop & Maude Harrison Taylor Bishop. He retired from Gambel Bros. after 40 years of service. He united in marriage to Ruby Curry on March 9, 1957. He is survived by his wife Ruby Curry Bishop, of Louisville; four sisters, Mary (Dillard) Shaw, Anna Mae(Carlile) Judd, Louisville, Mildred (Mitchell)Earline Shaw, of Louisville, and Beatrice Majel Euclid Morrison) Curry of Greensburg; One brother George Mason (Mary) Bishop of Greensburg, One sister Frances (Owen)Warford preceeded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 23,at the Nunnley Funeral Home on Taylor Blvd, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery
