My uncle William was born in Madison Township,Columbia County. He attended the Geiser School then helped out on the farm.He married Mildred Eddinger on December 23 1919 in Hagerstown Maryland and they were married for nearly 70 years."Roy" worked on a farm in Mifflinville PA until he saved enough to buy his own farm in Mifflinvile.Years later he bought the Buckhorn farm and planted an orchard.He retired in 1960. In 1984 he was at the Grandview Home where he lived with Alzheimer's Disease until his death.Roy and Mildred were long-time members of the church of the Nazarene,Bloomsburg,PA. He was preceded in death by Mildred. They are beside each other in the Elan memorial park.
