|Death: ||Nov. 14, 1863|
Corporal, Company C, 71st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. Jesse Hill was captured while defending the Angle at Gettysburg against Picketts Charge. He died while at Belle Isle Prison in Richmond.
Note: Jesse Hill grave stone indicates he served with a Ohio regiment. This is incorrect. A check was done on the rosters, which did not have a Jesse Hill serving with the 71st Ohio.
