Services were held, Monday, June 28, 2010, at the Phillips Chapel Church, 718 Albert St. in Youngstown. Friends called at the church for the service of Miss Tracee Y'Von Banks "Babii Tra," who passed away Saturday June 19, 2010.
"Babii Tra" was born Feb. 9, 1993, in Youngstown.
Tracee attended the Mahoning Valley Opportunity Center, she enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, swimming and she excelled in track.
Tracee loved listening to music, shopping, taking pictures, watching movies, talking on the phone, good food and most of all family gatherings.
Tracee was also a member of "Riden' Pretty" female motorcycle club where she was known as "Babii Tra." Tracee also loved spending time with her nephews, and little cousins.
Tracee was a beautiful person inside and out. Tracee was a loving, caring, athletic, outgoing person who had a smile that would light up any room and your heart.
Tracee will forever be sadly missed by all. Tracee was and always will be her families, "Babii Tra."
Tracee leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Ms. Tracee Hewlett, stepfather, Mr. Ovidio Santiago Jr. both of Campbell; father, Mr. Gerald Banks Jr. of Youngstown; two sisters, Miss Melanee Patton of Youngstown and Miss Briana Banks of Campbell; one brother, Mr. Gerald Banks III (Pooder) of Campbell; two nephews, whom she adored Jazzciere and Benjamin of Youngstown; grandparents, Ms. Carol Hewlett of Campbell and the late Mr. John Alexander Sr., Mr. Gerald Banks Sr. of Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and Barbara Cottle of Youngstown; aunts, Felisha, Sherena, Tina, Latonya, Tamika and Kandice, uncles, John, Ernest and Nelson, all of Youngstown; two special aunts, godmother, Ms. Ahprille Andrews of Youngstown, godparents, Mrs. Farrah Hewlett of Youngstown, and the late Mr. Nadale Hewlett; four special uncles, Mr. Mark Briskey of Campbell, Mr. Michael Peace and Mr. Jason Pickard both of Youngstown, and Darrell Hubbert of Campbell.
She also leaves her godbrother, Mr. Sha'Thomas Hewlett of Youngstown; two special sisters, Miss Sierra Smith and Miss Janay Rogers both of Youngstown and Mrs. Kris Rogers who was like a mom to Tracee.
Special mention to Miss Victoria, Ta'Leyaah and Julizza Evans all of Youngstown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tracee was preceded in death by grandfather John Alexander, uncle Nadale Hewlett, great-grandparents, Lloyd and Frances Hewlett and Mr. and Mrs. Jean and Joe Profanchik, great-uncle Darryl Hewlett and grandmother Mrs. Carmen Santiago.
Contributions may be made in Tracee's honor to the "Babii Tra Banks Memorial Fund" at any Huntington Bank.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Howard-Rhoden Memorial Home.
