Bossier City LA - Services for Richard Hoeflich will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton La. Interment with full military honors will immediately follow the service at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Richard was born October 11, 1938 and passed peacefully on November 1, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Richard, age 73, retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service, and the United States Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Hoeflich, his brothers Louis and Michael Hoeflich, sisters Marilyn Kozak, and Theresa Bryant.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Elsa T. Hoeflich; son, Rick Hoeflich and wife Helena; daughters, Diana Notini and companion John Crawford and Michalle Jones and husband Allen. He is also survived by six grandsons, three granddaughters, five great grandchildren; brothers, John, Bill, and Peter Hoeflich; sisters, Barbara Bopp, Carol Danaher, Joan Masnyk and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Active pallbearers will be the Barksdale Honor Guard with Joshua Roberson, Nicholas Hoeflich, Dominick Notini and Allen Jones serving as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Cornerstone Rehabilitation Hospital.
