AGED G. A. R. VET OF A. C. ANSWERS HIS LAST ROLL CALL Azoriah Banister, 80, veteran of the Civil War and for 44 years a resident of this section, died at the home of his son, H.P. Banister, 801 North F street, early this morning. He had been ill for several months. Paralysis was the cause of death. The widow, one son, an adopted daughter, Mrs. Long, of north of the city, two grandchildren, two great grandsons and one great grandaughter, survive. He was a member of the 36th Iowa State Infantry, in the Civil War. He had been a member of the local G.A.R. Post for many years. The G.A.R. will have charge of the funeral. Services are to be at 2:30 Friday afternoon, in the Grant funeral home, Rev. E.C. Smith, of the United Brethren Church, officiating. Burial wil be in Riverview cemetery.
